Fingerprint Project is a series of all ten of my fingerprints, precisely crocheted from computer scans.  This work addresses issues of heritage, heirlooms, and the legacies people leave behind.   I have very little connection to my parents' families, and have only a few doilies that have been passed on from both of my grandmothers.  This handmade inheritance has piqued my curiosity as to what traces I will leave behind in this world.  Will I pass on cracked antique china, unpaid bills, and my DNA, or simply leave tiny, unnoticed mementos of my existence?
